We wrote I AM poems about Bradley Chalkers, the main character of Louis Sachar's There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom.
In grade 4jk we wrote some poems. The poems we wrote were Couplets, Clerihews and Cinquains. After that, for homework we wrote either a clerihew or cinquain about the book we read. Here is an example: Tintin in the Land of the Soviets by Herge TINTIN STRONG, SMART RUNNING, FIGHTING, THINKING TINTIN IS KIND AWESOME It was great fun doing this. It took me a while doing this. When I finished I thought it looked good. So I really want to do this again!! -Kevin
